Concept

A hidden izakaya, Robatayaki ZekkochoTeppen, nestled in the backstreets of Nishi-Shinjuku.Step inside, and you’ll find a lively and energetic atmosphere. Our specialty lies in ‘robata-yaki,’ featuring seasonal vegetables, fish, and meat grilled over binchotan charcoal, paired with an excellent selection of local sake. We’re in top form today, and we look forward to welcoming you!

Course

We offer a variety of courses, including a course in which you can enjoy our specialty “saba” (mackerel) and a luxurious course in which you can enjoy wagyu beef and salmon roe omusubi.

Food

We are proud to offer a variety of menu items, including our seasonal specialty “Fresh Fish Sold Whole” and “salmon roe with salt on rice balls” that are boldly poured with salmon roe right in front of the customers. The “Japan’s best appetizer” is a gorgeous appetizer that can only be found at our restaurant!

Drink

Our staff are certified sake tasters, and we always have over 30 varieties of local sake available, which change weekly depending on the season. We also have a selection of hidden and limited edition sake. We are always happy to offer suggestions on how to match the sake with your meal, as well as other excellent sake dishes, so please feel free to ask for help.

Spaces

The interior of the restaurant is full of atmosphere, like a nostalgic old private home. The spacious tatami room seats up to 12 people, making it perfect for various banquets. On the wall, we have written words of courage and dreams come true for “Robatayaki ZekkochoTeppen”.
